“Absolutely amazing people and vibes. I've suffered with a back injury for years with doctors and appointments not being able to figure out what's causing my pain and one appointment with Gabriella and I knew the cause and immediately she started on a plan of action…”

Frequently asked questions
Who is this offer valid for?
This offer is valid for those suffering disc injuries such as a bulging, herniated or prolapsed disc in the neck or back, as well as degenerative disc disease.
What is Spinal Decompression Therapy (IDD Therapy)?
IDD Therapy is a non-surgical spinal decompression treatment for disc problems. It is gentle and non-invasive, and aims to ease pain and help you get back to your normal activities.
It was developed as an alternative to injections or surgery. Advanced technology gently decompresses the exact segment of your spine causing the problem, to take pressure off the disc and nerves. A gentle oscillating movement helps the disc take on fluid and nutrients, relaxes muscle spasm and helps the joints move more freely.
Treatment is tailored to you, and our chiropractors work closely with you to monitor your progress.
What if I don't have any disc issues, but I have back pain?
At Enfield Chiropractic Clinic we specialise in treatment for most types of back pain and can still help. Just complete the form above and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your problem and book you in for a consultation.
What is the difference between a Chiropractor, Physiotherapist and Osteopath?
Although all three professions can be used to treat the same health conditions, they differ in their philosophy and approach to treatment. Each is regulated by its own statutory body in the UK, and physiotherapists and osteopaths are recognised as Allied Health Professions within the NHS. We recommend choosing someone you feel comfortable with.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No, you do not need to be referred by a doctor to see us. Chiropractors are regulated by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), so you can book with us directly.
What is your new patient procedure?
All new patients will need to have an initial consultation.
MEDICAL HISTORY: We will discuss your health concerns and take your medical history. Please bring details on any medications you are taking and scan results if you have them.
PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT: You may be asked to undress in order for the chiropractor to correctly assess your posture and injury. It is recommended to wear loose fitting clothing, e.g. a t-shirt or vest, loose trousers, shorts or leggings. The chiropractor will perform some tests to diagnose your problem and provide you with advice on how to best recover.
TREATMENT PLAN: At your FREE IDD Therapy session appointment, your chiropractor will go through your results and recommend a personalised treatment plan, whether through IDD Therapy or other options, along with a full risk assessment. Hands-on treatment is not included in the consultation. In the event that chiropractic is unsuitable for your problem, you will be referred to the correct healthcare modality.
The free IDD Therapy session is subject to eligibility and is booked after your consultation, with your treatment plan in the same appointment. Before recommending IDD Therapy, your chiropractor may need a recent MRI scan or X-ray (usually from the last 12 months). If you need an MRI scan, the referral is free, but the scan itself is paid for separately.
What should I wear?
It is recommended to wear comfortable loose fitting clothing, e.g. shorts or leggings. Your chiropractor may ask you to undress to assess your posture and spine.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
This will depend on your problem or injury. However, every "body" is different and will heal at a different rate depending on various factors including your age, general health, occupation, lifestyle and diet.
Can you refer me for a scan?
Yes, we can refer you for an MRI scan if we deem it necessary (the referral is free; the scan itself is paid for separately), and we can take X-rays at the clinic for an extra fee.
